The second round of strike action will go ahead from Tuesday 27th September through to Wednesday 5th October.
Further talks had been held between the Unite Union and Hutchinson Ports but unfortunately an agreement has not been reached.
This means that, unless a new resolution is proposed and agreed, from 07:00 on Tuesday 27th to 07:00 on Wednesday 5th October, Felixstowe Port employees will walk out on strike.
Currently the Port of Felixstowe or the Shipping Lines have not announced any contingencyplans but as soon as we have further information, the AFS team will contact you directly.
As always, AFS will do everything we possibly can to minimise any disruptions to your shipments that this strike action will undoubtedly cause.
