AFS Global offer sea freight services from all major ports worldwide.
With our extensive global network of partners reaching all four corners, we’re able to co-ordinate every variety of sea import, export or cross trade of:
FCL – Full Container Loads
Whether its Door to Door or from Port to Door, we’re able to offer you multiple routes, vessels and shipping line options to find the right mix of price and transit time for your full containers.
LCL – Less than Container Loads
From a single pallet to large volume LCL’s we can move any sized shipment to or from any port. Efficiently planning and loading shipments on our own network, as well as working with a select few approved co-loaders, AFS Global are able to offer guaranteed space and frequent departures.
If you have multiple suppliers in one origin, then looking at consolidating your cargo to ship in the most efficient way possible is important. We can support you with advice and transit options to move your consolidated LCL goods from origin to destination. We’ll make sure you have all the correct documents for each supplier and consolidate deliveries to your door.
Buyers Own Consolidation
Shipping large volumes from different suppliers in the same territory? If so then AFS Global can advise on how to combine cargo into your own container known as a buyer’s own consol. This will mean all your cargo arrives in your own container at your door, reducing the cost of multiple shipments.
Temperature Controlled Cargo
We can handle all types of temperature sensitive cargo so, whether its refrigerated foodstuffs from Canada, temperature-controlled parts for the automotive industry or confectionary to Singapore, AFS Global have the expertise on hand.
Out of Gauge or Heavyweight Freight Cargo
Are your goods heavy or oversized? Using equipment such as flat racks or open top containers we can co-ordinate the journey of your commodities no matter the size, shape or weight. We work with stone importers from India and granite importers from China so we know what it takes to support the big and heavy stuff.
When handling hand-crafted champagne flutes from the factory in south China to a customer in North America, care and attention is required at every stage. We’ll give you advice on how to instruct your shipper to pack your goods, clearly label them and then choose the journey with the least handling points – all essential when transporting fragile shipments.
When traditional shipping isn’t suitable, AFS Global and our team of career experts will sit down with you and plan your specific project cargo. Our experience on projects includes a fleet of left hand drive ambulances imported from Germany, re-fitted in the UK and exported to Singapore; tankers full of heated epoxy resin, sent from Korea via Antwerp to the UK and lastly, for the emerging markets, cobalt from Australia and Siberia.
We’ll take the time to understand your commodities as well as your requirements for each project creating and delivering a bespoke plan.
